Fanfiction - "Whispers in the Dark"

Title: Whispers in the Dark (One Shot)

Spoilers: Only if you haven't seen the premiere...

Disclaimer: I don't own any form of Supernatural whatsoever. And for all intents and purposes, that's probably a very good thing.
Summary: Dean seeks to find temporary solace.
Notes: This is just a soft little ficlet, written to the sounds of Chopin, Clint Mansell and Breaking Benjamin, which is an epic combination by my standards.

This could also be considered as a companion piece for: "Where is my Angel?"

Pellets of rain were beating against the motel room window, creating a soft, sweet melody. Dean couldn't help but think they were the tears of Angels; crying for the sin he was about to commit. Still, he didn't care. He needed this more than anything else on this earthly plane. He needed a release from all of the burdens that had been weighing down on his shoulders for as long as he could remember.

He wasn't Atlas; he was just a man. Why was it his responsibility to carry the weight of the world?

Soft fingers started to brush lightly against his smooth skin. They slowly make their way up his torso, stopping only to draw circles around his nipples. They reach his collar bone, tracing it. The Angel leans in, planting soft kisses along Dean's neck. He starts to whisper sweet sentiments into his ear.

Slowly, all of Dean's earthly worries begin to fade away; he looses himself in this moment - a moment of solace in the arms of an Angel.

The Angel asks permission to enter. Dean grants it.

Dean feels the slow penetration at his entrance; his breath hitches as a sensation of intense, pleasurable pain overcomes his entire body.

The Angel takes it slow at first, so as to avoid hurting his precious human lover. The thrusts are slow, and short. He kisses Dean's mouth, enjoying the unique taste of him. He now understood why so many of his brothers chose to fall all those millennia ago. The pleasures of the flesh were intoxicating.

He pushes his tongue into the cave of Dean's mouth, and Dean accepts it. The two of them then loose themselves in this one passionate kiss.

After what seems like forever and yet not long enough, Dean breaks away. He tells the Angel that he wants him to go deeper.

The Angel simply nods, and begins to thrust faster, harder. He goes even deeper, brushing against Dean's prostate with each movement. Dean allows a loud groan to escape his lips as his body tries to arch off the bed. The Angel simply puts his hand on Dean's chest, and forces him back down. He then brings his hand up to meet Dean's, lacing their fingers together.

With one final thrust, they both of them take the Lord's name in vain as their bodies are overcome with a wave of sheer and utter ecstasy.

The Angel collapses on top of Dean; the both of them breathless. Dean wraps his arms around him - his Angel - and kisses him softly.

"You know you are my salvation," Dean whispers once the kiss is broken. The Angel simply replies with: "And you are my corruption."

Um, I love you! Greek mythology owns my soul, so this line...LOVED it!

A kindred spirit. I also love Greek Mythology. It has fascinated since I was a child. I blame it on Disney...

The parallelism is very fitting for what Dean must do.

That's exactly what I was going for. Kudos to you for picking up on that.

Fantastic lines right there! I read up on the Grigori last night, which allowed me to enjoy this even more than I would've before.

You know you are the first person I've come across who actually knows who the Grigori are? Good for you, hun! *thumbs up*

Squee! *high five* I have loved Greek and Roman mythology since I was a child too! I became so fascinated with it in 5th grade (kudos to my teacher!), and it continued to grow. It all sticks with me.

Seriously, with what Castiel has told Dean so far, I can only imagine how he must feel. It's only going to get worse. The fate of the world will rest on his shoulders...Atlas is someone I've always bled for. What an exhausting burden...I also feel for Prometheus so much. Such punishment he suffers still for what he gave to us.

The Grigori were so much fun to learn about...because as a fangirl, I picture that happening to Castiel *devil horns* Dean is delicious, after all ;)

It is an incredible subject, isnt' it? It's also overwhelming. There are just so many Gods to keep with. You've also got the philanderer, Zeus, consorting with mortal women... Oh, and let's not forget the Gorgons.

As for my favorites, I've always been fascinated by both Hades, and the guardian Cerberus.

The Grigori were so much fun to learn about...because as a fangirl, I picture that happening to Castiel *devil horns* Dean is delicious, after all ;)

The Grigori were the ones originally responsible for getting me into Angelology when I was approximately 10 years old. I was also very interested in the Fallen Angels as well, along with the three levels of Hell that supposedly resides in Heaven.

Oh! And I so agree with you where Dean's concerned. XD

I'm currently trying to come up with a few ideas, so yeah, I will indeed be writing more in the future. However, I'm probably going to wait until more of the season has aired, and I see more of Castiel.

Oh, it's a fantastic subject! "Clash of the Titans" is one of my favorite movies for that reason. Oh Zeus, don't even get me started on him =P Like you, Hades and his activites have always intrigued me. In fact the myth of the seasons is one of my favorites (I delivered a speech on it last week!).

I also love Cerberus...but most of all, I love the idea of the River Styx and the boatman Charon.

Castiel has gotten me into Angelology and in wanting to learn more about Angels, the Grigori and the story of Lucifer drew me in more! Also, Azazel was once an angel!

I'm trying to write my own fic at the moment. It's been hard to work on it with all my coursework. I'm anxious to get it published though =D I'm a big fan of songfics, so it will definitely be one =)

Looking forward to this week's episode soooooooo much *rocks back and forth* Is it Thursday yet? xD
