So, I found out yesterday that Stargate Atlantis has been canceled by the moronic wonderful people at the Sci-Fi Channel. My reaction? To be brutally honest with you, it went a little something like this: "It's about time. Thanks for not disappointing me you glorious people you."

Now, before anyone gets their knickers in a twist, keep in mind that that was my trademark sarcasm.

I knew the cancellation was coming -- it was just a matter of time. Those folks just can not seem to stand it when they've got a great series on their hands. It's almost as if they go "OMG! Fix it until it's broken, or cancel it! We can not have anything decent on this station -- it will ruin our reputation! FLAIL! FLAIL!!"

Examples of wonderful series canceled by said idiots: Farscape (I'm still angry over this) and The Dresden Files

Also, am I alone in thinking that the real reason for this cancellation is because the Sci-Fi Channel wants to put their full support behind the new Amanda Tapping series "Sanctuary?" Which will probably be canceled after it's first season... It looks too damn good. Can't be having any of that!

Another thing that puzzles me to no end is the fact that Eureka is re-newed year after year. Wtf? This series is nothing more than a blatant rip-off of other, BETTER, science-fiction that was around long before it was. I honestly think that the heads of the writers, of this said program, would explode if they actually had an original thought. And another thing... Err... Nevermind. If I keep going, I'm going to insult someone, so I'm just going to shut the hell up.

End teh bitchy!post. Good night folks~
