If I were him, I'd be mortified to think of people having so much angst over a very fleeting moment.

With the career he has chosen, he might as well get used to it. Angst from his fans after meeting him is going to happen -- whether he likes it or not.

I'm a very analytical person, so I analyze my meetings with everyone I meet for the first time -- be it a celebrity or just your average person. I try to make-sure that I'm polite, and that I don't say anything out-of-line; I repeat the conversations in my head. That's just the way that I am. But once people get to know me more personally, they'll be the first to tell you that I never take anything too seriously. I'm also not very easily insulted. I just worry if I insulted the other person or not.

I guess you could also say that it's part of my classic southern upbringing. Down here, manners are everything.
