Supernatural - "I Know What You Did Last Summer"
As per usual, my thoughts are under the cut...
Seriously, what the fuck was going on during this episode?
Let's break it down:
1. Sam slept with Ruby -
Oh, boy...
Personally, I don't care about this either way. What I do care about, however, is how the fandom is going to react to it. Both Jared and Genevieve may very well receive some serious backlash from this, and that saddens me something horrible. Surely, both Eric and Sera knew what they were doing when they wrote this into the story.
Another thing I must point out is the fact that it is just... wrong. It doesn't matter if the girl's soul in no longer inside the body, this is still a question of morals. It was her body. And even if she is a 'Jane Doe', there's still a possibility of a family out there frantically searching for their daughter/sister/girlfriend. Now tell me - what would happen if said family were to run into Ruby on the street? The encounter would rip them apart.
Talking about controversy... You guys have opened up a whole new can of worms with this.
2. Anna -
Not sure what I thought about this girl. I do find it interesting that she shares the same name as the prophetess, Anna, in the Bible who was the daughter of Phanuel, which just so happens to be another name that Uriel goes by. Anna was also the name of Samuel's mother. Surely this isn't just a coincindence...
2. Alastair -
Now this guy right here was awesome- No. He was made of awesome. His entrance and the way he kicked the Winchesters' asses? Yeah, it had me flailing, and cheering him on. I also found it very interesting how his eyes were the same color as Lilith's, along with the fact that he's completely immune to Sam's powers. He also survived an one-on-one battle against the demon killing knife. This suggests that he may be higher up on the foodchain than Lilith. And that thought alone gets me excited.
In a nutshell, he was BADASS. I demand more of him in the show.
3. Castiel and Uriel's entrance -
How awesome was this? Seriously, people, I was literally squeeing. And what was up with the looks exchanged between Cas and Dean? Also, has anybody else noticed how when these two are in a room together, they concentrate solely on one-another? Everything else just seems to fade away. If you don't believe me, take a closer look at what happened in the motel room in the episode It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester. Once you've done that, re-watch this episode. If you don't notice it, then keep repeatedly watching it until you do. Trust me, it's there.
Kitsu's Final Grade: C
As for next week: I'm holding out hope here, Kripke. You better deliver.

I don't see Uriel as being a dick. Instead, I see him as being proud, stern and fearless. I also love the way he carries himself; he's a got a particularly strong presence about him.
The angel!porn is hotness. You know that you won't be able to resist it for long.
Ha! I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thought that during said scene. I think I may have actually grinned during it.
Wank has that effect on me, and it pisses me off something fierce. I mean, we can't change it, so why get so damn worked-up about the whole thing? Now, I understand pointing out why it's wrong, but don't get in a tizzy over it. It's not worth the energy.
As for next week, OMFG. I was actually fanning myself when I saw that. DAMN...

Yes, this does sadden me. I dislike Ruby intensely, especially the new one, but I can't hate Sam solely based on this. I've seen some people say they are refusing to watch the show again (me thinks those are empty threats) but why would you? I've been here since the beginning and I am going to pussy out because of that? Please, I stuck with Heroes (util they killed off Adam) and through ER, I can stick through this. I just find it funny how people are in such an outrage, and some don't even notice that their other shows did the exact same thing. Buffy? Yeah, that was necrophilia. Angel, Mmhmm. Even Anne Rice books had necrophilia. For some reason it's not rare in the Supernatural genre.
And honestly, when it comes to inter species I can't say anything since I have been swooning over Dean/Castiel since the start of the season. The only thing I will say is if Sam and Ruby can have sex Dean and Castiel can have sex eventually as well, right? I know you can hear me show! Don't ignore me!
Now this guy right here was awesome- No. He was made of awesome.
Ugh, I love him already! He was kinda crazy, kinda calm, and kinda fucking awesome. The actor is very good, and I am hoping for another Dean and Alastair scene as well as a Alastair and Castiel scene (IMAGINE THE AWESOMENESS!)
How awesome was this? Seriously, people, I was literally squeeing. And what was up with the looks exchanged between Cas and Dean?
I love Uriel. When he said the thing about Ruby being a stain he went up in awesome points for me. And the Dean and Castiel eye sex? Oh yes, I notice. Really, I was never into slash before. I liked Dean and Sam and all, but didn't read the fics and didn't pay attention to the subtext. But Dastiel? It's kinda hard to ignore that. It is the official pairing that got me into slash.
Lastly...
This is true. And if something does happen to him, the Kripkeeper will have a full-blown riot on his hand.
Oh God could you imagine the hate? I've already seen tons of hate threads on the Sam and Ruby, I don't want to imagine how the forums would be if he was killed. I'll be optimistic and say there is no way in hell that they would do that, not if they wanted to keep their lives. I don't know, I would be pissed and depressed at the same time. Not a good combination for me. I wouldn't be surprised if I held a grudge over it if they did kill him.
