Sorry about the delay. I saw the film yesterday, and I had planned on writing the review when I got home, but I was struck down by a horrible migraine. I apologize. Now then, time for the review:

First and foremost, I would like to state that I am indeed a die-hard fan of Harry Potter, and have been since the third book (which would explain why it's my favorite), so my review may be just a little bit biased. It is my opinion that this is the best HP film yet. It's shorter than the other films, but it gets straight to the point. You-Know-Who is back, but the Ministry and the rest of the wizarding world is suffering from "the ostrich syndrome". They refuse to believe it, and Harry has become a total outcast because of it. As has Dumbledore.

This film is dark, gritty, and has all the makings of a good horror film despite the fact that it isn't. The acting is also superb. Kudos especially to Daniel, Rupert, and Emma. Unfortunately, Rickman and Fiennes completely stole the movie right out from under them. Sorry guys.

I'm not going to go any further than that because I don't want to spoil it. I will say this much though, the best part of the entire film is the ending. Also... We needed more Tonks.

Well, I got my advance tickets for the Wednesday showing of Harry Potter 5 today. The theater was nearly sold out, so needless to say, I'm on cloud nine right now! I'll be sure to write a review for it when I return.
