After a horrific weekend on my front, I log on to LJ and read the following:

"After directing the first episode of the fourth season, he learned he had lung cancer. He died in Los Angeles, California, on January 25, 2009."

I'm completely and utterly speechless right now. Truly, there are no words. I send my condolences to his family, and to the cast and crew of Supernatural.

I have no words. Seriously, I don't.

I've been enjoying KIm's work since X-Files, I just don't know what to say. It happened so quick.

Geez, this was like the last thing I expected to come out from today. Truly shocking news. RIP, Kim. :(((

He was one of my favorite SPN directors. I'm gonna miss the hell out of him. D:

I had no idea he was sick. let alone in such a critical state... that's awful :( Such a talented man with so much to give... why does it always happen to the truly gifted ones? *sniffles* Supernatural won't be the same without him, his talent, and his good natured attitude.

If WE'RE this torn up about it, just think of how awful the boys and the rest of the cast must feel... may they all find peace in this somehow :(

I am still completely shocked. I cannot believe that this is really happening :( Kim was an incredible producer, director and surely an amazing friend. My heart goes out to his family, friends, to the entire SPN crew and everyone who knew him.

May he find peace.
